Please meet some of the staff who will be taking classes at Tara's Academy

Tara Zubairy Moore

HEAD OF THE ACADEMY- Tara Zubairy Moore qualified in both primary and secondary English and Drama. She then went on to do post graduate studies in Drama in Education and has an M.A. in Education. She was Head of English and Drama before having her second child. She has been running the most successful Drama group in the area since 1997. All the staff that are employed in the Academy are of the highest calibre and hand picked. They are all qualified in their own subject and CRB checked.

Laurie Springate

I am Laurie Springate and I will be teaching Dance and Drama for the Academy. I am trained in both Trinity and up to A level, Drama. I have worked with children for the last 3 years as a teaching assistant at the Drama group. I am enthusiastic and willing to make sure each child reaches their potential.

Hannah Ryan

Hi, I am Hannah Ryan. I am a trained primary school teacher with a specilism in P.E./Dance. I have been dancing myself for 4 years now and have been teaching Street dance specifically at primary school level for 2 years. I love dancing, as I think it brings an area of the curriculum that some children can show how to express themselves, when sometimes they find it hard to communicate.

Asif Zubairy

Asif has worked in Television for over 25 years. In that time he's worked in all programming genres including news, children's', religion, sport, documentary, comedy and entertainment. Originally a print journalist, he trained as a director at the National Film and Television School and in his management career has been Director of Programming at the Paramount Comedy Channel, Director of Original Programming for all Disney Channels outside the US and, more recently was Head of Entertainment for the Nine Network, Australia. He now has his own production company and is a member of BAFTA.
