Tara's Academy is located in Charvil and Twyford in semi-rural Berkshire. The Drama School was established to offer Children between the ages of 4 and 18, courses in all aspects of Drama and Dance as well as complimentary classes for Literacy and Numeracy. It is intended that all subjects covered by the National Curriculum will be added to the timetable in the near future The Academy believes in every child who walks through the door and all staff are fully committed to ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. |
The Academy principal, Tara Zubairy Moore, qualified in both primary and secondary English and Drama. She then went on to do post graduate studies in Drama in Education and has an M.A. in Education. She has been teaching Drama for over thirteen years and was the head of English and Drama at a local Secondary School before having her second child. |
